Do we want to use the 5th Grade CSAP rubric? Create own? Add sequencing to 5th grade rubric? Looked at presentation rubric that we will use for student's oral presentation of their biography report. We've decided that we are going to use the 5th grade CSAP rubric because students are very familiar with this rubric and understand what's expected and the differences between 4, 3, 2, 1. We added some more information to the Organization category of the rubric.
Hickey's class is working on final copy of "How To"
Wolfe's class is working on presentations.
Capron's class is working on sharing their "How To' - students will write a final "How To"

Carrie Risley provided us with the Effort Rubric. We will tweek it to fit our needs. Include recent grades on the rubric.

We are very concerned with the motivation and attitudes of some of our students. What to do? Use effort rubric and evaluate student's work , attitude, and motivation throughout the week. Send home on Friday for parent's to sign. Students return signed form on Monday. Begin this next week, April 20th.
